Fostering Careers at Apex

Fostering Careers with Apex

At Apex Fostering, we believe great fostering support starts with great people. Our team works together to help children thrive, support foster carers, and build a culture where people feel valued, trusted, and proud of the work they do.

If you are looking for fostering careers that feel meaningful, supportive, and people-focused, Apex could be the right place for you. We are always interested in hearing from people who want to make a difference and who share our commitment to child-centred care, integrity, teamwork, and high-quality support.

Why work with Apex?

Apex is a growing fostering agency with a strong sense of purpose. We are proud of the progress we have made and the community we have built, and we know that this has only been possible because of the people behind it.

When you join Apex, you become part of a team that values your input and understands that your work matters. We want our team to feel supported, respected, and able to do their best work. That means creating a workplace where people can grow, contribute ideas, and feel proud of the difference they make.

We also know that fostering careers can be both demanding and rewarding. It takes compassion, skill, and resilience to support carers and children well. That is why we place such importance on communication, professional development, and a positive team culture.

Current opportunities

Senior Supervising Social Worker

This role includes a caseload of around 10 families, with travel to carers’ homes when required and home-based administrative work. It is a hybrid style of working that allows for flexibility while still keeping strong, personal contact with carers.

We are looking for someone who has a social work qualification, is registered with Social Work England, and has at least three years of fostering industry experience. A DBS check and references will also be required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a relatively new agency that has already grown significantly. As part of a smaller team, your views will be valued and your contribution will have real impact. You will also have access to respected social work support and the opportunity to develop your own specialisms.

If you would like to discuss the role further, please contact our Business Manager, Sali Walker, on 07885 808075.
